Staying at the Star Inn

Guest rooms are in a small cottage in the grounds of the Star.  All ensuite bedrooms are individually styled, comfortable and quiet with the facilities you would expect from AA four star accommodation.  We try to encourage an atmosphere of friendliness, relaxation and informality, whilst at the same time maintaining a high standard of service.  If you have any special requirements please don't hesitate to tell us.

Hospitality tray with selection of teas and ground coffee

Mobile phones do not work well - the signal in this area is very poor.   We are happy for you to use our landline if you need to

Free wireless broadband for our guests in the Inn

If you plan to spend the day fishing or walking we can provide a picnic basket (with a bit of notice please). 

We have facilities for drying and laundering clothes.

Arrival & Departure Times

To ensure we are here to welcome you please plan your trip to arrive between 1.00 - 3.00pm or 5.00 - 9.00pm.  If the front door is closed during this time please ring the bell on the porch.

We ask you to check out by 11.00am on the day of your departure.

Breakfast

We like to think our guests come here to relax and for this reason breakfast is served between 9.00 and 9.30am  If, however, you need an earlier breakfast  (or for that matter a later one) please ask and we will do our best to persuade the chef !

Dogs

Dogs and wiped muddy boots are welcome in the bedrooms and in the bar of the Inn

Double ensuite room

Cancellations.

We know plans do not always run smoothly and we will always do our best to alter dates or relet rooms if necessary.  Late cancellations (within one week) will be charged if the room remains unsold.
