The gardens at Mottisfont Abbey

MOTTISFONT ABBEY

Less than three miles from the Star Inn is  Mottisfont Abbey. 

Once a 12th century priory, Mottisfont Abbey is now a handsome house set in glorious grounds alongside the River Test.

The gardens house the world famous National Collection of Old Fashioned Roses which are a joy at any time of the year.

This National Trust property is open from March until the end of October.
