EATING AT THE STAR INN

Many food guides recognise The Star Inn with entries featured in the Good Food Guide, the Good Pub Guide, AA Best Pubs & Inns Guide and AA Restaurant Guide. The menus at the Star Inn combine the traditional elements of good food with a modern twist. Whether choosing from the lunch or evening menus the emphasis is always on local seasonal ingredients cooked to order.

At this time of year there is a good choice of local meat from Butcher Charles Baynham alongside a selection of freshly caught fish. Everything from the flavoured breads, baked daily, to the delicious biscuits or petit fours at the end of your meal, is made in the kitchen.

Menus change frequently with lots to suit everyone's taste. Special dietary requirements can normally be met and we offer a seperate menu for the under 6's.

Food is served in the bar or separate restaurant and in good weather in the pretty courtyard garden.

The private dining room 'The Mulberry Room' is ideal for small family gatherings and celebrations and lunch or dinner menus can be tailored to suit your budget.
